Jim and Helen are getting married.  To each other.  At some point.

With Les and Chantel already married, Tom and Siobhan getting married in August 2024, Verdant will have 3 married couples working together. 42% of the employees are now in a relationship with a colleague. It seems love is in the air at Verdant!  Even Doug has found someone to marry him!

Of course, as Helen will be organising the wedding, it is likely to be decades before it actually happens. Jim has suggested that the wedding is held at Biggleswade Utd football club in the Verdant Stadium (which would be a practical and excellent choice of venue) prompting Helen to return the ring.
